Did you know? Some dog breeds grow hair on the inside of their ear canals and may require removal to increase airflow to the ear and prevent annoying ear infections. The procedure of removing hair from a dog’s ear canal is known as “ear plucking" and it's often carried out in poodles and poodle mixes (including goldendoodles, labradoodles, cockapoos, and other poodle hybrids, Maltese, bichon, shih tzu and lhasa Apso.
