Did you know? Bulldogs, French bulldogs and Boston terriers feature a short, kinked tail, often referred to as "screwtail." These three breeds all lack the vertebrae that make up the tailbone, explains Professor Danika Bannasch, Department of Population Health and Reproduction in the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Interestingly, this characteristic is linked to a rare inherited syndrome in humans.
