Ever wondered why many dog agility obstacles are often yellow and blue in color? It's because dogs see colors differently than humans do. For sake of comparison, a dog's color vision is roughly similar to that of a person who is red-green color blind (a deuteranope).  Dogs therefore have a hard time discriminating between red and green, but they have a much better time detecting blue and yellow.
