Dogs go through the teenager stage too! Generally speaking, dogs reach adolescence between the ages of 4 and 6 months of age. Its duration though tends to vary based on variables such as different breeds and sizes.

Generally, in small dogs, expect dog adolescence to generally last up to when the dog reaches 18 to 24 months, while in large dogs it can linger around up to when the dog is 36 months old.
