Did you know? Dog breeds with pushed- in noses (brachycephalic) tend to have a lot of the retinal ganglions concentrated in a central area, in a similar fashion as the human fovea. This allows them to focus better on single objects. Perhaps this is reminiscent of the times they were used for fighting?
