Did you know? According to new research led by the University of Sydney the life expectancy of chocolate Labradors is significantly lower than their black and yellow counterparts. The research showed that in the UK, the median longevity of non-chocolate Labradors was 12.1 years, which more than 10 percent longer than those with chocolate coats. This is likely due to a smaller gene pool. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/10/181022085826.htm
